About Ask Silence Dogood

Ask Silence Dogood is a trauma-informed coaching and education practice founded by a credentialed victims advocate and survivor of sexual assault, domestic violence, and strangulation. Our Journey

The Story Behind
Ask Silence Dogood

Ask Silence Dogood was born from survival—and from the betrayal of a system that should have protected.

Before surviving three separate strangulation attempts in a single hour, Ask Silence Dogood had spent over 20 years working as a domestic violence and victim advocate. She knew the system. She believed in its promise. But when it was her turn to be protected, the system minimized what happened. It pushed the incident under the rug.

That betrayal became the spark.

Ask Silence Dogood is not just a name. It’s a reckoning. A refusal to be silenced. A trauma-informed coaching and education platform built from breath reclaimed, voice restored, and strength redefined.

She now offer coaching, workshops, and education for women navigating life after trauma—especially those who are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and underserved. Every offering is rooted in emotional literacy, radical care, and the belief that healing doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
